Ok, you bibliophile and literature fan- Try this review for size:
Joh Steinbeck was admittedly a brilliant author, but he chooses a very poor way of displaying his genius. This book debases his intellect and his readers. I am once again reminded of a review I had recently read pertaining to Steinbeck's use of excessive profanity, in particular. It is quoted here:
